How To Manage Passwords | KeePass
http://pc-addicts.com - If you are like me, you have way too many different passwords to remember. I have used KeePass for years, and the nice thing about it, is it works cross-platform in my environments (Windows & Linux).

Migrating SBS 2008 To New Server
I have this project coming up that I need to start planning for. Customer is a new client of ours (lawyer's office) in which they have about 15 client computers, and a couple of servers.
One server is just a terminal server so their staff can remote in and work. The other server is WAAAAAY over worked.
Dual Xeon E5440
Only 6GB of ram
Main functions:
- Windows SBS (Small Business Server) 2008 (ram hog)
- Active Directory Services (Global Catalog Server)
- MS SQL server (ram hog)
- Database driven software that manages everything for their company (SQL)
- Exchange 2007 (ram hog)
- Hyper-V (MS Virtual Server) running Windows Server 2003 R2
- Blackberry Enterprise Server within the virtual machine
- Symantec Backup Exec
- File server everyone works off of
- NO SAN type unit
- Few printers, etc...
Since this thing has their entire business running on it, it's a little nerve racking thinking about the best way of moving it over to a new server (IBM with double the ram - if it were up to me, I would have suggested we beef up the ram in the current server and call it a day, and ---- split off some of the services to another server).
Going to start reading: http://pcatr.im/L0 to brush up on best practices, etc...
Anyone out there migrate something like this before (it's a lot different doing this stuff on someone else's business, rather than my own)?

Switching From Linux to Windows To A Little OSX
I recently recorded a video with me talking about how often I switch operating systems. For some reason, I like tinkering with Linux, and customizing it to my liking, when at other times, I like the fact that Windows 7 just works without hours of googling how to get things to work. OSX I have played around with a little bit, but in the end, I would rather work on Linux.
How often do you switch operating systems? Do you have any tips on Linux vs Windows vs OSX?
